Mr. Gabay manages a litigation team in the defense of a wide range of first-party and third-party pre-suit and post-suit claims sounding in residential and commercial property and liability, bad faith, fraud, bodily injury, and uninsured/underinsured benefits. He assists insurance carriers with insurance policy analysis and coverage opinions.
Mr. Gabay is also experienced in litigating commercial breach of contract claims, corporate disputes, and bond claims, and manage the firm's Corporate Immigration Department. He accepts representation of businesses of all sizes and their potential foreign employees, providing assistance with acquiring temporary immigration status and permanent residence in the United States. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Mr. Gabay has tried numerous cases in state and federal courts, and has established a reputation for his ability to acquire positive settlement results in complex cases. He isadmitted to practice law in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Mr. Gabay graduated cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan where he was awarded three book awards signifying his achievement of the highest grades in his classes. He also served on the law school’s board of appeals and law journal, and participated in both moot court and mock trial. Mr. Gabay graduated with an honors B.A. from York University in Toronto, Canada acquiring a degree in Business, Economics and Politics.
SPEECHES AND LECTURES
Mr. Gabay has been approved to instruct insurance related continuing education courses by the Florida Department of Financial Services. He has participated in and has been a lecturer at educational programs. Topics include case law updates, bad faith, and ethics.
Mr. Gabay is licensed to practice law in Florida, New York and Washington D.C..
Mr. Gabay has dedicated numerous hours providing pro-bono legal services and expansion advice to religious organizations.
